The striking Scheepjes River Washed (XL) yarn range has been created in the same way as the popular Scheepjes Stone Washed (XL), with its key difference being the coloured (rather than white) inner fibre which, like Stone Washed, is surrounded by a contrastingly coloured net. The result: a uniquely expressive yarn with a tactile and rustic quality. Giving all projects a tough and contemporary look, Scheepjes River Washed XL is the ideal Aran weight yarn for creating a range of wearable items that transition through the changing seasons with ease. Made from a 70% Cotton and 30% Acrylic blend, this yarn is simultaneously soft, breathable, highly durable and has a wonderful woolly look & feel. It's also the perfect yarn for those with a sensitive touch looking for a wool-free alternative to wool.
